This museum is situated Behind the Swambhunath hillock. This museum has cover 14010 unique collection of butterflies, fishes, reptiles, birds, mammals, plants, and a variety of fossils collection within the country. This museum was establishes in 1975 and now it is running under Tribhuvan University. This museum provides details information's to the tourist about nature observation, study of high attitude birds, alpine flora and fauna etc. It is open everyday except Saturdays and Government holidays. Entrance is free but photography is strictly prohibited inside.
